It was hiding

My yard is a total disaster. Well, not total. But I've been working on it and working on it and never seem to get anywhere. Yesterday dad was weed whacking, and whacking and whacking while I pulled grass from the garden. But, on close inspection next to the wild aspen trees that are trying to take over, I spied them. Thin, spindly, yellowing. Rhubarb. My own rhubarb. I think they aren't doing well because they are in constant shade. But next weekend this will change. I'm going to dig them up and move them so they will grow nicely. Next year, RHUBARB!
